A summoner utilizing a harmonizer to control her pet.
The Harmonizer, referred to as a Takt (Japanese: タクト) in the Japanese version, is a weapon category in Phantasy Star Online 2. It is a retractable wand that can be used by Summoners to control Pets.

Harmonizers are small batons that are wielded by players. They are of practically zero offensive value; their only purpose is to allow players to command Pets that can be bound to the weapon.
Harmonizers have two basic motions: a simple wave performed by using a Pet's basic attack, and a circular flourish performed by activating a Pet Photon Art.
If in direct proximity to a target, a Harmonizer wielder can connect with a very weak Melee attack if either motion is performed. However, this action does not restore PP if it hits.
Due to the above points, the only practical purpose for Summoners to actually "pick" a Harmonizer is its Potential (if any) and/or aesthetics. Otherwise, Summoners are to focus on raising their Pets instead.
