Resta, a healing technique, could be derived from the word "rest," as in a brief respite in order to recover energy.

Resta costs 30 PP to cast, and generates two pulses centered on the user, each healing each ally within its area of effect. Increasing levels of resta, up to the maximum level of 15, require higher base T-ATK to learn, and increase the amount healed.
Resta may be charged by holding the button down for a moment before releasing. Charged resta affects a larger radius, heals for more each pulse, and produces two additional pulses (a total of four) for the same PP cost.
Techtors have a number of passive skills to improve resta, including resta advance to increase resta's healing amount.
Like all techniques, resta may be set into the weapon palettes for rods, talises, and wands, or into the sub-palettes alongside consumable items and skills. Only characters with force or techtor as their current class or sub-class can use techniques.
